Jayme Prevost recently received the James Marshall Memorial Award at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto 42nd Annual Big Night Out Gala on June 14, 2012.
The award honours significant growth and positive change in a Big Brother and Little Brother. Prevost, a Constable with the Toronto Police, joined Big Brothers seven years ago.
“I had a lot of problems with bullies when I was growing up and I did not have a big brother to lean on,” said Prevost. “I am doing this because I wanted to give back something that I never had.”
