As our church continues to navigate through this season of transition, we give thanks for the Pastoral Leadership Task Force (PLTF). The team consists of Jessica Carrasco, Rayma Fletcher, Tim Gonyou, Christopher Pakkianathan, Helen Patten, and Fatima Zane.
They are tasked with working in conjunction with the denomination leaders of the Free Methodist Church in Canada (FMCiC) to fill the vacant pastor positions.
The team is currently meeting on a regular basis to work on the “church profile”. Once the profile is completed, it will be submitted to the Official Board for approval prior to any job openings being advertised.
We are also very thankful to have Pastor Darrin filling the leadership role during this transition, and for the preaching and teaching being provided by the many guest speakers that have been scheduled months in advance.
The Official Board decided to proceed with finding consistent help with preaching. At the same time, the PLTF is conducting the search for permanent pastoral leadership.
