One more summer has come and gone already! We faced many challenges at Studio 15 this summer, but, despite it all, the summer staff worked hard to ensure a fun and safe summer program. Our summer staff consisted of 4 placement students from the TCDSB Focus on Youth program, 4 volunteers, Rayanne Stewart, Alex Simmons and Jonathan Dotson.

The staff was very creative and adapted incredibly well following the flood on July 8th, which resulted in the loss of our primary programming space. The campers still had a great time hearing (more) about Jesus, going to dance and play sports at St. Maurice school gym, fun activities and games at Kingsview Park, and great special guests including Reptillia and Christian rap artist, Neva Herd.

Other highlights were the weekly Thursday trips which included Playdium (Thanks, Toronto Star Fresh Air Fund!), Wild Water Kingdom, and Ontario Science Center/IMAX.

We praise the Lord for bringing so many community kids to our program, the necessary funding, and for the summer going so well overall.

This fall our after school arts classes resume in the Broadview Education Centre. Please pray for all the renovations to be done in time! Programming is available for youth from ages 10-17 years old. Stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for information about the classes that will be offered.
