Believe it or not, Studio 15 has now entered its second year of ministry! We’re very excited about what God is doing in and through our small but dedicated group of staff and volunteers.
We see young people finding a safe & caring place to belong, making friends, having fun, getting access to healthy food, learning new skills and developing proficiency in the arts. Many express hope for their future, and what they want to be “when they grow up.”
To date, about 75 youth have participated in and benefited from our arts & music programming! Praise the Lord!
We have had a fantastic Fall session with classes in cooking, jewellery-making, a music club, and an introduction to sewing. Fall classes end on Dec. 6. Our Winter session line-up will likely include more cooking classes, and drawing, guitar, painting and piano workshops. Check out www.studio15arts.com for updates.
We are also looking forward to offering arts programming in a local high school starting in early 2013.
Did you know that Studio 15 is designed to be a self-sustaining ministry? As a project of Kingsview, supported by World Vision Canada, we still need to receive funding from various agencies and individual donors in order to continue serving the community.
This Christmas, would you consider giving a financial contribution to Studio 15? We are looking for donors that will support us with one-time gifts and on a monthly basis.
If you’re interested in contributing financially, please contact me directly at 416-248-5000 ext. 26 or by email.
Whether or not you support us financially, we ask that you give us a more important gift – your prayers. Please pray for Studio 15, its staff, volunteers and, of course, its participants and their families. Pray that everyone involved would sense the presence of the Holy Spirit, and come to know to know Jesus as their personal Saviour.
From all of us at Studio 15, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
