I would like to say “thank you!” to our Kingsview family on behalf of Sharon and me for all your love and support that has enabled me to become an Ordained Minister in the Free Methodist Church in Canada (FMCiC)! I’m looking forward to what God has in store for us all.

I would also like to extend a special thanks to those that helped make the service and the dinner afterward a rich time of fellowship and fun! We came away feeling so affirmed, encouraged, and very blessed.

Board of Administration Chair Greg Ford sent this note on Jan. 21,

Laurie and I… had the wonderful opportunity to join in another family celebration, this time with … Kingsview FMC for the ordination of Darrin Lindsay… It was noted that Darrin’s journey to ordination has occurred over many years. Imagine the role that Darrin’s family – the local church, his birth family and especially his wife Sharon – have played in supporting him… In other words, challenges to be met, adventures to undertake, a life for God being lived, surrounded by a “family” nurturing and caring throughout the journey.

The formal proceedings were followed by a wonderful meal – all in all a family gathering together in joyful celebration! However, what struck me the most in looking around the sanctuary was the “family” that had gathered to mark this occasion. There were 21 fellow pastors from various denominations joining together to lay hands on Darrin, members of MEGaP, members of the Board of Administration, members of the Kingsview congregation. God’s family drawn together to glorify all He has done.”
