2013 was quite the year for Studio 15! We experienced a flood and had to adjust with consequent program operation changes, we hired a new program director, attended a challenging Leadership workshop and we put ourselves through some intense self-scrutiny and evaluation.

Through all of these experiences and challenges, we have learned, we have grown and we have become resilient and we have become inspired to do and be even more for God through this program.

Looking forward to the new year, we have created a new aspect to the program that we are VERY excited about and believe will be beneficial to all who take part. We have started a new project called H²— Homework Helps. It’s an afterschool homework club aimed at helping youth ages 10 – 14 with their school work and classroom skills—and a delicious snack is provided as well!

In order for the program to run as successfully and smoothly as possible we need energetic and enthusiastic tutor volunteers that will work with the kids during that hour. We have enlisted the help of some high school students, but we are looking for more who feel led to give of their time and resources in this way. If that’s you, we could definitely use your help!

Please contact Jessica or Shelley-Ann (contact details are on the back) if you are interested and would like to set up a time to schedule volunteer hours.
