The leadership of Kingsview Church (the pastoral staff and the Official Board) feel strongly that we need to continue a commitment to urgent and focused prayer on the future direction of the church. We have just completed “14 Days of Fasting and Prayer” and we need to continue the momentum.

There are four primary foci (that is the plural of focus) for our prayer during April.

FirstPray for God’s direction through the transition process of the church. The primary concern is not, “Who should be the next pastor?” but “What kind of church does God want us to be?”

SecondPray for God’s direction concerning the financial health of the church.

Deficits are discouraging. Deficits are a drag – emotionally and spiritually. “You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

ThirdWe pray for personal and corporate spiritual renewal.

“We want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead. We want to suffer with Him, sharing in His death, so that one way or another we will experience the resurrection from the dead!” (Philippians 3:10-11)

FourthAs part of the LifePlan Path, pray through the core values of Kingsview Church. Ask God to help us sharpen and refine them in keeping with His direction.

Here are the core values we have developed over the past few years.

  • Prayer and intimacy with God
  • Fellowship and Relationships with each other
  • Inter-cultural ministry in Toronto, Canada and beyond
  • Inspiring Worship
  • Bible centered Preaching
  • Discipleship
  • Fiscal responsibility
