Our Fall “Connections” evening, to be held on Tuesday, October 25th at 6:30 pm, will feature our tradition homemade soup and dessert buffets.
Award winning writer, editor and communications consultant Patricia Paddey will be our guest speaker. Patricia has co-authored the book, “the GAME changers”, with Dr. Jean Chamberlain Froese, Order of Canada winner and internationally recognized expert in women’s health. In it, Patricia tells many of the stories of the Save the Mothers Canadian-Ugandan Partnership Programme that has been established to help prevent the unnecessary deaths of thousands of mothers and babies each year.
We will be challenged and encouraged by Patricia’s presentation, “You Can Be A Game Changer Too”. The book will be available that evening for $20. Patricia will be happy to autograph your copy. All proceeds will go to Save the Mothers. Patricia will accept cash or a cheque made out to Save the Mothers.
