On March 16, a rather cold day, about 12 men met in Pt. Hope to load a container with building and supplies destined for the Dominican Republic.
This is for the Medical Clinic which will be constructed behind the New Church. The building, 30’x60′, will also have four Sunday School rooms and during the week it will be the home of the Kingsview English Classes, scheduled to start immediately upon completion.
There are two washrooms with hot running water, a storage area, and two other rooms for offices or Sunday School rooms. On April 14, a Team of 15 people will spend one week to get the building started and on May 17 another 13 will be there for one week to complete the Project.
There is one very unique thing about this Medical Clinic and English classes. The two Medical Doctors and four English teachers that will run the facility will be graduates of the Kingsview Sponsorship Program.
