Isaiah 43:19:
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
September represents a lot of new beginnings; the leaves change, kids are back in school and families are back into their routines. However, we don’t have to wait until then to enter into a new season! Everyday God is continually making us new!
When we first accepted Christ, God gave us a new heart. Remember that His work in us didn’t stop there. We are being renewed daily by the Lord; through His word, through worship and through our life circumstances! Each morning, we wake up and it’s another opportunity to do amazing things for the Lord. We don’t have to wait until a “better” season or an easier time. God can use all of us just as we are, right now, today.
Even when life appears to be stagnant, The Lord says in Isaiah that He will make a way in the wilderness. One of my favourite verses is from 2 Corinthians 4:16, “Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day“.
If it seems that you’ve been in the same season for a while, and you’re waiting for something new and fresh in your life, know that God is working behind the scenes. Especially during those times when we don’t even realize it!
No matter what your situation or circumstance is, trust and know that the Lord is working it out for your good. We need to trust Him always.
Sooner or later, you will be in a different place on your walk with Christ. This only comes when walking faithfully with Him!
