Over a month has passed since the launching of the fall semester programming at Studio 15. As you know, the beginning of this term saw the employment of two new program coordinators. We praise the Lord that the transition into their new roles and responsibilities has gone smoothly. On that note, both Maheli and Jonny would like to thank Kingsview for the warm welcome they have received and for the prayers made on their behalf.

In addition to running Homework Help (H2) and after school art classes, this fall has been a time of strengthening, reestablishing, and redefining partnerships with organizations and institutions including AFEY (Advocates For Etobicoke Youth), Kingsview Village Junior School, Rexdale Alliance, and Youth Unlimited.

After a several year hiatus, a partnership with Kingsview Village Jr. School has been reestablished. Studio 15 has been requested to run H2 at the school facility on a bi weekly basis. This is an exciting opportunity to expand this aspect of our ministry through the use of their facility. That being said, as the details are worked out, much prayer and discernment is required.

We are happy to announce that our partnership with Rexdale Alliance’s Rush Hour program is set to resume. This entails the support in facilitating a once a week lunch hour program geared towards the students at TCI – a Bible lesson, lunch, games, fellowship, and more, all in the span of an hour.

For several years Studio 15 has used the Youth Unlimited LAUNCH curriculum as a part of the summer camp program.

Moving forward we will now be implementing a new component of the LAUNCH curriculum throughout the year in order to help foster the development of leadership skills in our youth.

We, the staff at Studio 15, consider ourselves very fortunate to be partnered with likeminded people who seek to invest in our community and desire to see the gospel spread in word and deed. We are also grateful for the doors the Lord is opening for us to expand our witness through our partnership with secular institutions. Lastly, we are grateful for your support of our fundraising endeavors, as well as your persistence in prayer for our ministry to this community in all its facets.

God Bless,
The Studio 15 Staff
